IMPORTANT: 2ND ROUND SCHOLARSHIPS FOR TANZANIAN WOMEN



Background
Most of managers and leaders in Tanzania formal and informal business sectors are men. In order to address this gap, Evin School of Management is providing opportunities for Tanzanian women who are in junior office positions, such as Office Assistants, Receptionists, Store-keepers, and others, to study General Management at Certificate and Diploma level to enable them to take advantage of available internal promotions or job vacancies within and outside their organisations. In year 2013 Evin School of Management gave out scholarships to 20 women to study for a General Management Programme at Certificate and Diploma level. The General Management Course is an approved and validated programme by NACTE.
Eligibility
Applicants must meet the following eligibility criteria:
1. Must be employed for 3 or more years

2. For Diploma, applicants must hold A-Level qualifications. For Certificate programme, O-Level qualification is required.

3. Those without the aforementioned formal qualifications but are fluent in both written and spoken English will be considered.

Application Process
Interested applicants are invited to send their Letters of Expression of Interest for the Scholarship and CVs through info@evinschools.com so as to reach us before 25th April 2014.

Decision Criteria: First Come basis
Scholarship Value:
Evin School of Management will offer partial scholarship of 50% of tuition fees for the first twenty (20) successful applicants for each programme.
